About: Dr. Joe Adu-Manuh is a licensed Clinical Pharmacist, Public Health professional, and Regulatory Officer with a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, medicines regulation, and public health systems strengthening in Ghana. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health from the School of Public Health, KNUST, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from the Ghana College of Pharmacists. Dr. Adu-Manuh currently serves as a Regulatory Officer with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Ghana, where he contributes to the regulation of medicines and health products, public safety, and stakeholder engagement within Ghana’s healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape. His professional experience spans clinical pharmacy, public health, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs, reflecting a deep commitment to promoting the safe, effective, and rational use of medicines. Over the years, Dr. Adu-Manuh has built a solid reputation as a pharmacist with a keen interest in medicine safety, healthcare quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration. His work has involved active participation in regulatory and stakeholder engagements with key institutions, including the Ghana Police Service and other healthcare and public-sector partners, contributing to discussions and initiatives aimed at strengthening medicine regulation, public health protection, and inter-agency cooperation. Dr. Adu-Manuh has also gained valuable international exposure through participation in several pharmaceutical and healthcare-related conferences and professional engagements across Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany.
