Participate in a Study: Experiences of Learners from LMICs of Postgraduate Pharmacovigilance Education
Researchers at the University of Birmingham School of Pharmacy are currently seeking individuals from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) who have completed a postgraduate degree (MSc, PgDip, PgCert) in pharmacovigilance in the last 2 years to share their experiences of postgraduate pharmacovigilance education.
If you feel you fit these criteria, you are warmly invited to share your experiences in a research study involving a short online questionnaire, followed by a 20-30 minute online interview. By sharing your experiences, you can help to shape more inclusive approaches to pharmacovigilance education worldwide.
This study is being conducted to support the work of the Pharmacovigilance Education Alliance, an informal working group of international pharmacovigilance experts exploring ways in which pharmacovigilance education programmes can be better designed to support learners from different global contexts.
If you would like to participate in this study, or would like to find out more, you can do so by emailing the Principal Investigator Dr Ryan Walker (Coordinator, Global Medicine Safety and Assistant Professor in Clinical Pharmacy, University of Birmingham). You can also find further details about the study in the participant information sheet.
You are also invited to share this information to any individuals or networks to whom you feel it is relevant.
The research team would greatly value your contribution to this important work, and your support in helping to advance more inclusive pharmacovigilance education globally.
